5 Very Quick Ways to Promote Your Information Products & eBooks

By: Michelle Shaeffer

Here are five very quick ways to promote your information products and ebooks.

1) Check with your shopping cart and payment processor for promotional opportunities. PayPal offers a marketplace listing for merchant, as does Mal's E-Commerce. If you sell through YouPublish, Payloadz, or e-Junkie you can be listed in their product sales catalogs.

2) Choose a good, helpful excerpt from your book and convert it into an article to share. Be sure your blurb at the bottom is strong and includes a promo for the book with a link to your sales page. Submit it to EZine Articles, WAHM Articles, and other article marketing websites.

3) Convert your title page, table of contents, and a few pages from your ebook into a “preview” version and offer it free on your website for visitors to download. This way they can get a good idea of the contents and style of your writing to see if it will work for them.

4) Post about your ebook on your blog. Include a link to your free preview file. (Bonus Tip: Send a free review copy of your ebook to blogs who reach your target market.)

5) Add your ebook preview link or sales page to your forum signature and/or email signature.
