Always Leave Your Mark

There are a lot of clever ideas that get overlooked because they almost seem too simple to really work.

Label printing usually falls into this category. What, exactly, are you supposed to use these labels for?

There are a number of things to consider for label printing, but first let’s look at the label itself.

The best kind of label is going to be the kind that stands out. I’m sure you’ve seen these kinds of things on products before. They’re usually just a little shiny with the company name on logo on it. Because it isn’t just printed on the package, but something else entirely, it manages to jump out more at you than you would be able to get with just a normal image.

This fact is what makes labels something to take notice of. Because they can stand out so well you can be sure that you have a greater chance of people taking notice of your brand name and logo when you put a label on something rather than just print it into the package.

Consider this for every product you sell. Don’t just have your company name on it, but have specially made labels you can put on the products. The first thing this does is make your name stand out, as I’ve already mentioned, but another thing it can accomplish is a greater amount of consistency among your products.

If every single product is using the same label, a label that you also put on your advertising, it makes it easer to recognize your brand name. Getting your brand name out there is one of the more important aspects of making your company name known. You have to constantly spread your brand name or else no one is going to take notice of you.

When people see the same image enough times, especially if it’s the exact same image, they’re going to be more inclined to remember it. A solid label that you’re putting on everything is one of the best ways to accomplish this.

One of the best things about this too is that label printing is not very expensive at all. You can get a lot of labels made to not only put on your products but also to have around the office as well for when you need to quickly slap them on something. With something like this you’ll never be very far away from your label and brand name at any given time.

Put those same labels on free hand outs you give at conventions or tradeshows. Put them on all outgoing mail. Put them everywhere you can think to put them, and I think you’ll begin to notice people remembering your brand name more and more. Don’t let the simple nature of a label fool you into thinking they aren’t effective.
