Direct Sales – Using Your Upline For Support

Your upline can be a wonderful support if you go to them to receive support.

Many companies have been around for quite a while now, making teams very large. For me, I have three upline leaders I can go to. I know for others, they have an even larger number of upline leaders to get support from.

Each of my upline has different experience with the company and different personalities. I speak with all of them on a regular basis.

So, what can you expect from your upline for support?

1. Someone to answer company and product questions. When I first began, I would copy and paste emails from potential team members and potential customers to my upline and ask for the answer. She was a wealth of information on products and product usage.

2. Personal team support. One of my uplines works her business similar to the way I work mine. When I need support for my existing team or a potential team member, I’ll contact her and she has answers within minutes for me.

3. Ongoing company training. My upline leader who has been with the company for 25 years provides online training, phone training and local rallies. She also provides one on one training with potential team members.

4. Website training and updating. One of my upline leaders will update anyone’s website for free, adding new products and sale products. She is a whiz with anything company web related.

5. Uplines can often provide an extra catalog or ship out a rush product that someone wants. My upline actually offers a bulk mail service. You provide your customers names and addresses and they send out your catalogs at bulk rate prices. Your upline also might have discontinued products that you can’t get elsewhere.

Your upline is there to help you and support you. Take advantage of their experience and knowledge to help you build your business.
