This is another one of those things that we are always going to do and never seem to get around too. One of the reasons that we overlook it, is because it just seems like too big of a job to tackle in the amount of time that we have. However, if you make things simple, and look for an easy solution to a frustrating job, it will take you less than thirty minutes including polishing the shelves. If you can just picture a library and the organization that it has, it will make it easier for you to do. Take all of the C.D.'s that you have and put them all in one place. Now separate them into categories; country, classical, oldies or whatever the selection that you have. When you have finished with that, take the pile of one specific category and separate them according to Artist. You will now take each Artist and alphabetize the C.D.'s according to Title. When you are through with this, you can now place them on your shelves 'alphabetically' according to category. When you have completed this and as you are looking at your shelves; you will have a category, the artists according to alphabetical listing and their C.D.'s all listed alphabetically. It will make it easier for you to find them and to put them away when you are through. You will be the envy of everyone that looks at your collection!
