Include More Than The Benefits

These days, marketing with benefits is not enough anymore to get customers and clients to come in your doors. Before, marketing experts would often tell how you can market successfully if you let your target audience know about the benefits of engaging in business with you. Not the features but the benefits can actually make the sales keep on coming in.

But it’s not that way now. Nowadays, you need to sell your benefits along with the right set of features if you really want to make your marketing strategy successful. This means that you have to present your benefits in light of the features you have in your product or service. Your set of features would bring credibility to what you are saying in your benefits. This is especially true if you are establishing an image to your target audience of a business that is professional and an expert in your field. On the other hand, this idea would definitely be favorable if you are trying to establish a connection with target clients that are knowledgeable and does not just get swayed by fancy offerings from marketing collaterals such as brochures and hang tags.

This is especially brought about by the recent economic crunch. People are no more interested by flashy and fancy advertising campaigns that don’t give them their money’s worth. Consumers nowadays are discriminating. They do think hard before they would shell out their hard earned money. And they would definitely be looking for products and services, and even offerings from marketing collaterals such as catalogs and hang tag printing where they can get their every penny’s worth. Hence, giving your informed audience with only the benefits won’t work anymore. You got to make them see how they can have your benefits with more information.

So marketing copy, even if you slather it with pure benefits is not enough. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to keep them interested by missing out the important and technical aspects of your product or service. Persuade them with a copy that is benefit-ridden along with a set of features that go with it. If you have this in your marketing collateral, you will always be able to appeal to not only the mass consumers, but also those that are more educated and knowledgeable, which is the core of your target database.

By showing them the right benefits along with your features, you will always be giving your target audience the right reason to hook up with you and your offers.
