Preparing for the new school year and running a business can be a huge challenge if you don't prepare in advantage. Preparing ahead of time is the only way you'll be able to accomplish everything and keep your sanity at the same time. If you don't do this you'll find your stress levels will rise beyond your control and that won't be a good thing. So the best thing to do is sit down and think about everything you'll need to do to prepare your children for school and when and where you can fit it into your schedule. When you do this you'll find your stress levels will go way down and you'll feel better about everything. When you sit down to brainstorm all these thoughts will come into your head with regards to what you'll need to do for them, so it's a good idea to write them all down so you don't forget anything. Things like eye doctor visits, teeth cleanings, sports physicals, and immunizations are all things you'll need to possible do for your children, but you'll also need to purchase school supplies, visit the school open house, and make any arrangements for rides to and from school. That's a lot to remember and to top it off you'll also have everything for your business, so you'll want to start planning now so you can rearrange your schedule to make things work. Running a business during the month or so before school starts can be a challenge, but if you plan your business just like you plan to do the things you need to do for your children you won't miss a beat. You may need to get up a bit earlier, go to bed a little later, or work for a few hours on the weekend, but it will be worth it when you don't miss a deadline, lose hours from your business that make you lose money, or take your stress out on your customers or clients. So the best thing to do when you need to prepare your children for the new school year while working a business is to plan ahead. While it's not possible this year, next year you might consider planning as soon as school gets out so you aren't rushed and cramped for time when the school year begins. Plan doctor appointments for early summer and schedule them so you only have one a week or every two weeks so you still have time for your business.
