One way to reach success with your business is to be organized. If you organize your business you will have more time to work it and you will increase your income, which turns to success. Here are some tips that will help you reach your goals for success through organization. • Desk If you organize your desk you will be able to find things, you will have a clean workspace, and you will not stress over the look of your desk. One way to have a clean desk is to have file folders for your paperwork and file on a regular basis. Make sure you put things where they go when you are finished with them. • Calendar Use a day timer type calendar or one found online. Document everything you need to do. You can add your to-do list and any appointments that you have. This will help you organize your day, you won’t forget what you have to do, and you will know when you can plan and set appointments. When you don’t do this, you run the risk of overbooking yourself or forgetting something important. • Plan ahead When you plan your day ahead of time, you will feel better about everything. I recommend spending 15-30 minutes each night, to plan the next day. Create a to-do list and add it to your calendar. Mark things off as you complete them so you will feel better about your day and you will know what has been completed so you don’t try to do it again. Make sure you work in time for yourself as well. Rewarding yourself for a hard days work is a wonderful way to end your day. • Work your day When you plan your day and follow it, you will have success. Work hard each day during your work hours and you will reach your goals and mark off your tasks on your to-do list. When you don’t overbook yourself or stretch yourself too far you will be able to accomplish everything and more. Schedule everything from phone calls to checking your email. Make sure you plan at least 30 minutes for lunch and literally step away from your desk at that time. • Outsource Outsource when you can. This will give you more time to focus on your business and growth. You can outsource article writing and submissions, blog writing and posting, your newsletter creation, and email correspondence. To outsource these items, you should hire a Virtual Assistant. Your VA will be able to take care of these tasks which will allow you more time to focus on the tasks that make you money. When you are organized with your business, you will set yourself up for success. These tips will help you become organized. There are many more ways to do this. Sit down and brainstorm for ways that you can organize yourself and your business. You will find that you have more time to do things when you do this. Here’s to your success!
