When you are planning a Honeymoon Consider Inexpensive Honeymoons

Who ever heard of inexpensive honeymoons? Do they really exist? You may be surprised to know that there are many ways to plan and experience inexpensive honeymoons without sacrificing quality time together or romance.
There are plenty of places that are inexpensive. Here are some tips for anyone looking for inexpensive honeymoons

• Week days

Plan your trip for the week days. Prices for hotel rooms are usually cheaper Sunday through Thursday because it’s not the weekend when most people travel.

• Off-season

A lot of inexpensive honeymoons can be planned during the off-seasons. Most places are priced higher during the summer months or holiday seasons because more people travel during that time. So plan your wedding during the fall or winter months for cheaper hotels and airfare.

• Camping

Whether you have an RV or a tent, you can go camping. Camping spots are a lot cheaper than a hotel room. Depending on where you go and what hotels you check into, you may be able to camp for three or four nights for the price of one night in a hotel. Camping can be fun and a breath of fresh air. And what can be more romantic than sitting under the stars and enjoying a campfire?

• Motel instead of hotel

Remember when you are on your honeymoon, you may not do a lot of site seeing. Most times you are in your room enjoying private and intimate time together. Why not consider a motel instead of a hotel. The price could be as much as $30 a day less for a motel than a hotel.

• Discounts

Finding package deals may bring the price of your honeymoon down. Package deals might contain airfare and a hotel. You might be able to receive special honeymoon discounts if you mention your are newlyweds.

• Site seeing

Check online for places you can go while you are on your honeymoon. Site seeing is always fun and special, but planning early will help you save money on tours and other events. You might want to go to a movie so going during the day will give you a discount. You should also consider going to places that are free or inexpensive instead of going to expensive places.

• Walk

When you arrive at your honeymoon location, walk to the places that are nearby which you may want to visit. When you plan ahead, you can check out the places that are within a mile or two of your room. You might be able to find places that are within a mile or two of one location. With this you can park the car and walk to these places. I

• Bus or trolley

With the price of gas as high as it is, you may consider using a bus or trolley instead of driving. You should also check into discount passes for the bus or trolley services. Of course, this will depend on the size of the city and if those options are available. You will want to stay away from taxis if possible because the fees can be expensive.

Inexpensive honeymoons can be just as much fun as expensive ones, at a fraction of the cost. if you plan them properly. You may be surprised at the destinations and attractions you can go to a very limited budget.
