Writing Jobs - A Profitable Work At Home Money Maker

By: S McIntyre

Through my search for daily work at home job leads, I've come across many writing jobs. Some require writing degrees, but many don't. Writing is an ideal work at home job for people who are looking for a non-phone job and who don't really have a lot of experience that are required from other positions.

You can be employed to write for a company or individual or freelance by submitting articles to various sites for pay.

Many have the idea that you have to be a professional guru or be a professional writer. That is not the case at all. You do have to have some basic skills if you want to become a good writer and being a good writer often means higher paying writing jobs.

You don't have to have a degree unless you want to become a journalist. If you can compose a sentence that other people can understand, you have good use and understanding of the English language, punctuation and grammar and so on, then it's a great start.

Often people want to know what to write about. First of all if you're employed by a company, you will have topics or categories to choose from. That's easy. If you're not writing for a company, but writing articles to submit to paid sites then write articles on what you know. Do you have a passion for a cause or a topic? Do you like to teach and educate people through your writing? It's easier to write about something you know and are familiar with.

Another question people have is how do you know if your writing is good enough? You will never know if you don't start writing and receive constructive criticism from your family or friends. Here are a few questions you can ask yourself after you have written an article:

*Is it easy to read, follow and understand?
*Did I stick to the topic?
*Did I provide enough valuable information?
*Was it helpful?

You can greatly improve your writing skills if you take it one step at a time. You can start off by submitting them to free article directories and/or paid article sites. By submitting them to paid sites like Textbroker.com or Bukisa.com, you will have writing experience to put on your resume. This is good if you don't have prior job experience from any other online
job.

It also gives you the chance to experiment with your writing and find out what your writing style is. The more you write, the more comfortable and confident you will become. In time you will find the more experience you have under your belt, the more paid writing jobs there are for you.

Paid writing jobs are abundant and it's a profitable way to earn an income from home.
