You Can Do It!

You have decided that you want to stay home with your children. I love that idea!! But now you also want to work for home. That is another great idea!!

However, please do not fall into the trap of making excuses why things are not getting done or why you are unable to spend time with your family. All this is possible and I am living proof. I don't want to toot my own horn, but you can do anything you set your mind to. If you want to succeed you will, you will be determined and not let anything get in your way. The same goes if you are truly not interested. You will not put all your energy and effort into something you simply don't want to do.

So, first thing you must determine is what exactly do you want to do. Do you want to be a loving mother to your children and just simply devote all your time and energy to them? Or do you want that and so much more, like having your own business? There is nothing wrong with either decision, but the decision must be made in order to develop a plan.

Once you have chosen, then you can develop your plan that will consist of a schedule. Yes, it is possible to have a work at home business, and manage the household and the children. It takes patience, creativity and persistence. But, believe me it will all pay off in the end.

I am here to tell you that it can be done, but you can't do it alone. Never think that all must be done on your own. Your work at home business will ultimately involve the entire family. It is important to sit down and share your decisions and let them get involved in helping you succeed. Too often family and friends think because you work from home that you will be available any time of the day. When you look at your business just as that is - a business- everyone will treat the same way.

Be sure to set aside certain hours in the day to conduct your business, as well as hours that you will do your family obligations. Set the schedule and stick to it and you will watch your business succeed and your family not only will be impressed but will be your biggest cheerleaders.
