If you like the work you do and are committed to making it work, almost any business can be homeschool friendly. Here are some ideas: Direct sales Work parties around your homeschool schedule. Graphic or web design You work on your projects while kids work on theirs. Return phone calls in the evening, or when things are quiet. Writing Do paid blogging or free lance writing when it’s quiet or once the kids are asleep. Crafting Whether you’re making jewellery, scrapbooking, or something completely different, it’s easy to make a crafting business homeschool friendly. Mystery shopping You can bring kids to some stores, and arrange childcare for when you can’t. Internet marketing Talk to clients when it’s quiet, or when you have childcare available, and work on projects in the evening. If your spouse is supportive, see if he’ll look after the kids in the evening so you can get some work done. If not, you may want to look into childcare.
