Have you ever thought about creating an e-book that you can give to your new affiliates when they join? You can upload it to your site and have it be a link that goes out in the welcome email. Your new affiliates will have the ability to download it to their computer and use it.

In this e-book you will want to include screen shots of your affiliate program. You’ll want to include descriptions of each page, how to get there, and what they are looking at. This will help them understand your program. You’ll want to include the stats page, the links page, the graphics page, and the my account page.

Next you will want to include ways they can increase sales. Give them examples of the types of advertising they can use. These would be yahoo groups, social media, articles, blog posts, etc. When you discuss these different options, you should consider using clickable links so they don’t have to copy and paste it into their browser. You might consider doing a Google search and find a few message boards and social media sites that they can join and advertise on.

Make sure you include a letter thanking your new affiliate for joining your team and let them know that you are there to help with questions or concerns they may have regarding your program. You might consider adding a question and answer session at the end. You can poll your current affiliates and ask for their questions or you can include questions that you have already been asked.

When you help your affiliates reach their goals as far as income, you will help yourself raise your income levels as well. Now this may not be the only reason you offer an affiliate program, but it’s probably pretty high on the list. Creating an affiliate e-book guide for your new affiliates is a great way to help them be successful.
