How To Properly Enter Online Mom Blog Giveaways

Do you enter online giveaways? If so, are you doing it properly? When you enter online giveaways that are hosted on various mommy blogs, you can increase your odds of winning the prize if you follow directions and enter the giveaway properly.

Here are a few tips that I would like to share with you.

1. Always read the rules and guidelines for the giveaway. Just because you read them for xyz giveaway, doesn't mean that same rules and guidelines apply to abc giveaway.

2. Always complete the mandatory entry first. This entry usually requests that you visit the sponsor's web site and take a look around. If you don't complete the mandatory entry, none of your bonus entries will count and you will be disqualified from winning.

3. Bonus entries are a way to earn additional entries into a giveaway. They are to be completed after fulfilling the mandatory entry obligations. Bonus entries can include things such as following the host blog, joining a Facebook fan page, sending a Tweet about the giveaway on Twitter, or by writing up your own blog post about the giveaway.

4. You want to make sure the blog owner has a way to contact you via email should you be selected as the winner. You should always include your email address with all of your giveaway entries and make sure it's correct with no typos.

The most important thing when it comes to entering online mom blog hosted giveaways is to always read the rules and guidelines, the terms of service and disclosure policies. Once you have done that, move on to the mandatory and bonus entries for that particular giveaway.
