How to Brighten up a Dull Complexion

Do you find your skin often looks dull and lifeless? Would you like to add some life into your complexion and make it glow? This article will give you some tips and advice on how to brighten up that dull complexion.

If your life is as busy as most women’s you will find you are rushing around all over the place and often not getting enough sleep. This combined with the pollution that is around in our modern lives can all contribute to making your skin look more dull. However there are things that can be done to improve the way that it looks it just takes a little effort. We have put together a list of simple things you can do to put the colour and life back into your complexion.

Part of the reason that skin can look is dull is due to a build up of toxins inside us that are being pushed out through the skin. Sometimes it feels like you do not have a time to do anything about this. However make time, it will make you feel better and this will help with the rest of your life. After all who doesn’t like to be pampered. One of the things you can do is try to remove the toxins. You are probably aware that many celebrities will regularly go for colonic irrigation. If you can you should try and do this on a monthly basis. It will make you feel refreshed and pampered as well as having a great effect on your skin.

It is important to remember that looking great on the outside starts by working on the inside. You need to pay attention to what you eat and what you take on. Eating a lot of fatty, greasy food can cause a build up of toxins which results in blocked pores and dull looking skin. Try to fill your diet with fresh vegetable and fruit. These are food that are rich in vitamins and will help to add life to your skin. Also try to include beans and pulses in your diet as these are foods rich in vitamins. We would recommend drinking green tea or black tea with no milk. Tea is rich in antioxidants which are great for your skin and help you to remain youthful.

A great way to clear out blocked up skin is to exercise. Anything that raises the heart rate is good for you. This is great as it causes you to sweat. When you sweat, all the dirt and grime that is contained in your pores is pushed out. This leaves your pores clean and fresh which in turn makes you look great. After you exercise it is important to implement a great skin care routine in order to keep your skin clear. A good thing to do is to exfoliate your skin after exercise as this will help to remove any dead skin cells that are remaining which in turn will add freshness to your skin.

It is important to take care of yourself inside and out and the more care you give to yourself the better you will look in the long run. Feeling great about yourself is really important and ensuring your keep your skin fresh and youthful is the first step to feeling fresh and youthful.
