Publishing your articles on the Internet is easy, but that isn't license to take shortcuts... especially shortcuts that can get you banned from article directories and search engines when you're caught. Something many writers are doing now is, instead of writing their own articles with their own ideas, rewriting one by someone else and publishing it as their own. That's dangerously close to plagiarism, and it's a practice that could get you in legal trouble. Another alternative to writing your own articles is hiring someone to write them for you. That can be a viable time saver, but you need to be careful about choosing who you want to write for you. Writers pen not only your articles, but your reputation as well. Research your writer carefully so you can feel fully confident the work he or she does for you will be 100% original. For example, how much do they charge for writing an article? Believe it or not, you can pay anywhere from $5 to $100 or more to have someone write an article for you. If they're on the lower end of the spectrum, you may want to consider why they don't value their time more, or ask yourself how much time they'll really be spending on your article. Another thing to watch for is how many questions your article writer asks. Writers don't magically pull words out of thin air - they need good ideas to write good articles. I give my writing clients a lengthy questionnaire when I begin writing for them, so I can work their unique ideas into the articles I write for them. If your writer hasn't asked you about yours, you may want to ask them where the ideas in your article came from. Regardless of who writes your article, when you put your name on it and submit it to an article directory or publish it on your own website, you are responsible for any copyright infringement. When you submit articles that violate someone else's copyright, you've done more than waste your time or money on those articles. You've flushed your reputation down the drain too.
