PLR stands for Private Label Rights content. That means that you have the right to use content written by someone else as if it were your own. PLR content is usually provided as articles or small reports, but can be found as e-books as well. You are granted the license to rewrite the content and use it as you wish. PLR can be altered and used in any way you like, as long as you follow the terms of use given with the PLR content. The most common limitation is that you should not claim to have written it yourself (which would be dishonest) and you cannot distribute the content to article directories. You can however use the content as you wish on your own websites, in your newsletters, auto responders, blogs, etc. You can turn it into reports or e-book, or any other type of content you can think of. PLR content is often inexpensive because it is sold to a limited number of people. This is why rewriting portions, or all, of the PLR content you purchase is so important. Wherever you decided to get your PLR from, you want to be sure to rewrite it. While it is a great option for creating content, the idea here is that you are creating. You want to add your own spin so that it is unique and not like others who tend to use their PLR as is. This is also dangerous for search engine purposes. Also by rewriting the PLR content, you are free to put your name as the author. You can find PLR all over the internet but to be honest not all PLR is created equal. There are people writing PLR content who are not well versed in the English language and then there are some who are just plain crooked. So you want to be careful. If possible, get a sample first.
