Security is on everyone's minds these days, and with good reason. If you're
careful and take a few steps to prevent problems in advance, you shouldn't
have anything to worry about in your adoption journey. Here is a the little-

Did you know that you can take advantage of federal law requiring each of the
national credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) to
provide you with a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months?
These reports will show you if someone has opened a credit account in your
name. You can request free credit report from a different agency every four
months at Annual Credit Report

. Remember there are companies of similar names that request credit
card numbers before providing you with a report and then bill you for a credit
monitoring service. This is not what you are looking for. The report you're
looking for is free.
